Documentary- Botched Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery
I am doing research with a team of award winning documentary filmmakers that sensitively explores today's obsession with plastic surgery and what it says about self esteem and body image.

We would like to speak to those who feel that they are addicted to plastic surgery (ie who have had multiple surgeries) and who are still NOT satisfied;
victims of botched or illegally performed surgeries.

The film, if it goes forward will NOT be sensational but will explore this phenomenon from an objective perspective. The aim is to not only help the public to better understand the motivations for plastic surgery, the dangers, and what can happen when it goes too far; but also to pose the question as to whether our society as a whole is contributing to a vision of beauty that is impossible to attain.
